Galvanized Steel Sheet in Iran

Galvanized steel sheet is one of the most widely used steel products in Iran. Due to its high resistance to rust and corrosion, it is extensively used in the construction industry, industrial shed manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, ventilation duct production, household appliances, and industrial equipment.

This product is manufactured by applying a protective zinc coating to steel sheets. The zinc layer provides significantly greater resistance to moisture and corrosion, resulting in a considerably longer service life compared with conventional uncoated steel sheets.

In 2025 (1404), the Iranian galvanized steel sheet market remained one of the most active segments of the steel market. Although fluctuations in exchange rates and production costs affected prices, demand from the construction, industrial facilities, and manufacturing sectors remained relatively strong. Domestic manufacturers continued to supply a major portion of the local market, while a share of Iran's galvanized steel sheet production was also exported to neighboring countries.

Galvanized steel sheets are produced in various thicknesses and dimensions. When purchasing this product, factors such as sheet thickness, weight, zinc coating thickness, applicable production standards, and manufacturer brand should be carefully considered to ensure that the selected product meets the specific requirements of the project.
