MINING MACHINES
Depending on the place of use in the mine, the types of machines include drilling, loading, transportation, and so on, could be varied. Mining machinery can be different depending on the mining method (open and underground).
Drilling machines are responsible for digging wells and tunnels, which are used in the exploration phase to sampling the depth of the earth and in mining to dig blast holes and access tunnels.
Excavators, including crawler excavators, shovels, loaders, etc., are responsible for filling the trucks.
The dimensions of these machines are very different depending on the scale of the mine and transport trucks. Trucks also vary from large-scale dump trucks to small-scale trucks, and depending on the limitations of the place of use (open or underground mines or access roads), there will be a variety of choices. For example, dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 600 tons are used to transport minerals and waste from the blasting front to the crusher or depot, whereas the limitation of intercity road transportation makes it almost impossible to ship the goods with the weight of more than 25 tons. In general, in the underground mining method, the dimensions of the machines are limited to the access roads, tunnels, etc., which are far smaller than the open-pit mining machines. It should be noted that the largest machines built have been used in open pit mines.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY
Road construction machines are not dissimilar to mining machines, and in many cases, the same devices are used jointly in both fields. In road construction operations, various equipment and machines are used for carrying, loading, leveling, etc., which include all kinds of excavators, loaders, graders, and bulldozers, as well as bitumen machines, asphalt finishers, rollers, etc.
